Famous actress Meryl Streep explained that she temporarily forgot how to behave while portraying the US president at a political rally for writer-director Adam McKay’s comedy “Don’t Look Up”.
âI found it really difficult,â Streep revealed during EW’s round-table conversation with actress McKay, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Jonah Hill and Tyler Perry.
âI didn’t feel funny during confinement. When I came home to film my stuff, [I’d] get out of the car and haven’t spoken to anyone for three weeks. [I’d] walk into Worcester Stadium, put on the wig, nails and costume, and give a speech in front of all these people. I just lost it. I forgot how to act, I forgot what I was. It kind of dismantles your humanity, to be isolated like that. “
However, Streep quickly recovered his acting mojo, at least according to Hill, who plays the actress’ son in “Don’t Look Up,” and raved about his co-star’s comedic chops. .
âDon’t Look Upâ is now streaming on Netflix.
