ESPN Ringside showcases Tom Holland’s boxing skills, ahead of his final canvas adventure as Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Spider Man Actor Tom Holland showed off his impressive boxing skills in an Instagram sparring video.
The video was posted by boxing trainer and personal trainer Louis Chandler on his Instagram page, where he also has clips of himself training with stars such as Justin Beiber and Gerard Butler. In the footage, Holland trains with Chandler, displaying a number of striking combinations and quick footwork, even earning praise from the boxing coach, who claims Holland has “hands.”
The clip was originally released in July this year, but resurfaced after ESPN Ringside caught wind of it and tweeted it earlier this week. Holland received near unanimous praise from followers of the boxing-centric Twitter account, with fans praising his form and comparing his skills favorably to other celebrities who have tried their hand at the boxing ring. One response went so far as to state that Holland is “significantly better than 95% of celebrities who train in boxing”, while another said: “Cliché expecting something terrible like Drake but honestly pretty solid. “
Holland is no stranger to rigorous training regimes, as he revealed on The Graham Norton Show last month. During the interview with Norton, Holland discussed how he worked to get in shape for Spider-Man: No Path Home, which will be his third feature film starring the web superhero.
In the interview, Holland detailed his unusual training regimen, which includes EMS (electrical muscle stimulation). He jokingly called the process “yoga class while they electrocute you. It’s awful.”
Tom Holland’s Last Adventure as Peter Parker, Spider-Man: No Way Home, hits theaters on December 17 this year, with a new trailer slated to arrive in November.
